My real estate career started almost by accident, part-time in 1994, with a desire to buy our first home, not knowing that becoming a REALTOR® would turn out to be my dream job, and I would love it so much! I have helped many clients build wealth through property ownership and selling at the right time, and have made great long-term friends.
My husband and I want to stop paying rent and own our own home in Hawaii after deciding to make it our home and raise our children here. We also wanted to invest in rental property, and I had a huge interest in foreclosures. I really didn't know where to begin, so I decided to take the Real License Course, thinking it would help me buy a home. I wanted to understand the process and do it right.
I had about 10 years in the Banking Industry and Office Management, and developed a strong desire to help people with information. After I took the course and studied very seriously, I was blessed to pass on the first try. Every few days, I would hear from my account dept co-worker that it was very hard to pass, as they had failed more than a few times. I learned a valuable lesson during the process: don't let negativity stop you from accomplishing your goals.
I signed on with a brokerage in 1994 and began the journey over 28 years ago. I was on a mission to become a knowledgeable REALTOR® and homeowner, and by 1996, to buy a rental property. Little did I know that the process I used on myself had worked for many clients over the years. Most of all, we found a great REALTOR® to guide us, and it’s not something you can learn from a book or a class. I had a wonderful real estate mentor, and we are still friends to this day. I'm ready to help you, too!
